Drew & Allison’s big adventure.
While on a trip together in Mexico during May of 2022, Drew and I made the big decision to apply for New Zealand’s Working Holiday Visa, a visa that would allow us to work and live in NZ for one year. A few days after applying, we were accepted and excitedly started planning.
Fast forward to February 2023…we kicked off our lifestyle shift with some hard goodbyes in Colorado, made our way to California for our “goodbye tour,” and the following three months were spent bopping around the Philippines and Malaysia before finally settling into New Zealand one year after applying.
We have a blog!
We wanted to remember all the little (and big) things while traveling, while also keeping our families up to date on our whereabouts and adventures. This started with email updates that were sent out pretty regularly. However, as more time passed, we wanted to share with more and more people.
So after the constant question of, “Are you all going to blog about it?” The answer is yes, yes we are. So here’s our blog! The first handful of posts are backlogged email updates we sent to the family and the rest is the here and now for you all. So give us some love, a follow, and a read about our exploring if you so choose.
